🎊 How Often Should Vw Dsg Oil Be Changed
1,412. Location. Huntington WV. Apr 2, 2019. #3. I had a 2015 Passat TDI and changed the fluid myself. I just used the OEM fluid from the dealership. I also just used the drain/measure/replace method. I put new DSG fluid down the hole where the DSG filter is, not as messy as doing bottom fill.
Unless it has four-wheel-drive, the 1.5 TSI T-Roc has the dry-clutch DQ200. Historically this has been a problematic version of the DSG, but given this is a 2020 or 2021 vehicle it will have benefitted from the oil upgrades that Volkswagen made, so we would not expect it to cause any problems. There is no service schedule for this version of
How often should VW DSG transmission fluid be changed? The recommended service interval for changing the VW transmission fluid on DSG transmissions is every 40,000 miles. This includes the DSG transmission fluid and filter.
Assuming you have, you can check in your car’s settings via the infotainment screen when the oil change service is due. If it shows the oil service is due on a date that’s approx 24 months and a mileage of circa 18k, then the car’s settings are correct to generate the service warning for long life servicing. If the settings show the first
***** MQ35 box PDT, PFL, PFN, PGT, PNS (6 speed) G052 171 A2 = 70W75 fully synthetic considered by VW to be a lifetime fill, but in some cases VW upgraded to the high performance oil below. G052 527 A2 = considered by VW to be a high performance 75W fully synthetic gear oil, better withstanding cold and high temperatures.
I took the vehicle to the main agent and they replaced the clutch pack under warranty at 49K miles. The chief technician told me that this gearbox has been discontinued. I previously ran another model with the 6-speed wet clutch DSG gearbox to high mileage with no clutch problems. Now, the squealing has begun again, after less than 20K miles
Would like your opinion on how I should go about this. I've looked at both the official VW and Audi sheets (for service interval guidelines). The Haldex is required to be serviced every 3 years regardless of distance travelled. The DSG however, clearly states a service interval of 40000 miles (almost 65000km) on both the Audi and VW sheets.
TDI. 2013 Passat SE TDI. Feb 1, 2021. #3. Tom in PT said: The filter is above the transmission, under the battery tray. Remove the tray, battery and other things in the way to get access to it. OmOm. 5th Gear. August 17, 2013. My ride uses a 6-speed DSG and the reset procedures are: a. put key in ignition and turn key to the position just before cranking. b. hold down the accelerator for 10s. c. let go of accelerator and turn key back to Off before turning it back to the position before cranking.
My 2017 VW Golf GTI 2.0 calls for oil changes at 15000 kms or 1 year. My gut feel is that the oil should be changed at least twice a year or every 7 or 8 thousand kms.
So I went to the dealer today to get an oil change and my electronic diff fluid change. It’s a 15 with a PP. wow they had never done a fluid change on the vw eletronic differential. Talk about pulling teeth the writer found the line to schedule the service. The tech came back saying the didn’t have it.
The wife’s daily commute to work is less than 5 miles, so the oil gets changed between 5 and 6K miles. If you keep your cars well past 100K miles, like we normally do, other maintenance items like belts, hoses, coolant change, etc. become considerations. Then there is the prospect of intake valve cleaning.
